Benoit Badiashile, a defender for AS Monaco, and Chelsea have reached a personal agreement.
This is in accordance with Italian journalist and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, who asserts that an agreement has been reached between Chelsea and Badiashile and that the trade is currently in its "final stages."
Chelsea has been highly active leading up to the January transfer window as they have already acquired Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama and David Datro Fofana from Molde.
After Fofana and Andrey Santos, Chelsea is close to finalizing their third deal for 2023, Romano stated on his Twitter account.
"Deal for Benoit Badiashile is near completion, and all parties anticipate completion soon.
"'Final bits' occasionally, as predicted. Badiashile has personal agreements in place and wants Chelsea.
